Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) Learning Network

What are ACEs?

Public Health Wales define ACEs as being;

‘Traumatic experiences that occur before the age of 18 and are remembered throughout adulthood. These experiences range from suffering verbal, mental, sexual and physical abuse, to being raised in a household where domestic violence, alcohol abuse, parental separation or drug abuse is present’.

What is the ACE Learning Network?

A place for professionals to find out more about ACE initiatives, projects and developments, ACE training and ACE research. The ACE Learning Hub will support professionals from all agencies working across Wrexham and Flintshire with information, networking and partnership opportunities to help support developing ACE informed practice.
