What is RSS?

Standing for 'Really Simple Syndication', RSS allows you to easily get the information you want, when you want it. For example, more websites are providing links to different sections on their websites that allow you to quickly find out what has been added or is new on the site.

How to use RSS feeds

RSS feeds provided by a website can be accessed in various ways:

To read an RSS feed, you need to subscribe to them. This is free and no information about who has subscribed is held. Depending on how you are reading the feeds, they may appear in the Bookmarks menu option, or be displayed in a news reader application that you have installed (see below).

To add an RSS feed to your browser or news reader, you can click the orange RSS link on the page or by cutting and pasting the link into your news reader.
